About Sentinel Overwatch
Built by responders. Driven by integrity. Focused on protecting the most vulnerable.
Our Story
Sentinel Overwatch was born out of more than a decade of frontline disaster response experience. We watched repeatedly as well-meaning but unvetted volunteers created additional risk in already dangerous environments. We watched critical information get lost in flooded social media feeds while survivors waited for help. We watched small grassroots organizations — often the first on the ground and the last to leave — make life-or-death decisions with incomplete, unverified information.
Sentinel was built because we believed something better was possible. Because vulnerable people deserve a response system where every volunteer is verified, every piece of intelligence is actionable, and every organization has the tools to make informed decisions quickly. We have seen what happens when those standards slip — and we chose to do something about it.
Sentinel Overwatch launched in 2025 with a simple mission: give grassroots and small response organizations the verified data and intelligence support they need to operate safely, effectively, and with integrity.
Our Mission
To protect vulnerable people by providing verified volunteer credentialing, real-time disaster intelligence, and analytical support to emergency response organizations — from grassroots teams to established agencies — empowering better decisions, faster.

Impact
We hold ourselves to the highest standards of accuracy, transparency, and ethical conduct in everything we produce and every partnership we maintain.
Our operational boundaries are clear and we never overstep them.
We provide verified, data-driven intel to aid in making informed decisions.
Every organization retains full autonomy over their own operations. Our credentialing system is built on FEMA NIMS/ICS standards so our volunteers integrate seamlessly into any unified command structure.
We measure success by lives protected, volunteers safely deployed, and organizations strengthened — not by activity metrics.
By aligning with NIMS/ICS frameworks we ensure our support enhances official response efforts rather than duplicating or disrupting them.
What Makes Us Different
Year‑Round Operations
Unlike event-driven response organizations, Sentinel Overwatch operates every day of the year. When disaster strikes we are already operational — monitoring hazards, supporting missing person cases, and maintaining a credentialed volunteer network ready to deploy. There is no activation delay because we are active year round.
Intelligence First
Sentinel is not a boots-on-the-ground response organization. We are an intelligence and credentialing platform. That distinction matters. We stay in our lane, support the organizations doing the field work, and never compete for operational control. Our partners trust us because we respect boundaries and deliver results.
What We Do
Volunteer Credentialing
A four-stage credentialing process built on ICS/NIMS standards. Background checked, certification verified, deployment ready. Portable profiles that travel with volunteers across every organization they work with.
Disaster Intelligence
Real-time OSINT, situational reporting, geospatial analysis, and Common Operating Picture support during active disaster events. We cut through the noise so response teams can focus on the mission.
Hazard Monitoring
Continuous multi-state monitoring using professional-grade weather tools across a 15-state Gulf Coast to Atlantic corridor. River gauge tracking, storm surge analysis, and marine hazard assessment supporting both pre-event preparation and active response.
Missing Person Support
Data mining, timeline development, drift and search area mapping using tidal, weather, wind, and subject profile data. Sitrep generation supporting law enforcement and search and rescue operations. Most cases supported have been resolved with the subject located alive.
Our Watch Area
Sentinel maintains active monitoring and trusted network presence across the most disaster-prone corridor in the United States — from the Gulf Coast through the Atlantic seaboard.
TX • LA • MS • AL • FL • GA • SC • NC • KY • AR • VA
Trusted network of verified responders, local intelligence sources, and partner organizations spanning the full corridor.
How We Work With Organizations
Sentinel is designed to support organizations, not replace them. Every partner organization retains full authority over their own deployment decisions. We provide verified data. You make the call.
We maintain strict operational boundaries, protect sensitive information with rigorous data governance standards, and hold every partnership to the same standard of integrity we hold ourselves. Trust is built through consistency, transparency, and delivering on what we commit to — every time.
Whether you represent a grassroots team, an established response organization, or an agency looking for credentialing and intelligence support — if your mission is protecting people, we want to hear from you.
Our Team
Sentinel Overwatch is led by a small core team with more than a decade of combined experience in disaster response, search and rescue, intelligence analysis, and emergency management. Our founders bring a blend of field experience, formal training, and certified instruction — grounded in real operations, not theory alone.
Our core team is strategically distributed across the Gulf Coast and Atlantic corridor, providing real-time ground truth access across our primary watch area.
Every member of the Sentinel team operates under strict confidentiality protocols, ICS/NIMS discipline, and a code of conduct that prioritizes the safety of vulnerable people above all else. We do not grandstand. We do not overstep. We deliver.
