Welcome to the Sentinel Overwatch personnel verification system. We provide centralized background screening and credential tracking to ensure that partner organizations and disaster response teams are staffed by fully qualified, vetted personnel.

If you have been directed here by your home organization, please complete the two-stage compliance pipeline below to activate your deployment readiness profile.

📋 How the Verification Process Works

  • Step 1: Personnel Registry (Form Below) Submit the brief form at the bottom of this page to establish your compliance profile in our system. Be sure to select or enter your primary organization/affiliation.
  • Step 2: SafeScreener Background Check (Self-Pay) Shortly after submitting this form, you will receive an official email invitation from our screening partner, SafeScreener. You must complete their secure QuickApp portal prompt to initiate your backgroun
  • Step 3: Verified Credential Profile Once your background check clears, our system automatically emails you a personalized link. You will use it to securely log your emergency roles, upload training certificates (such as FEMA IS courses, CPR, or specialized field training), and specify your travel/deployment regions.

LEVEL 2: Operational Leaders & Mutual-Aid Responders

Best suited for: Personnel who lead teams, manage specific field assets, travel across state lines, or deploy via mutual-aid compacts (EMAC).

  • Target NIMS/ICS Roles: * Strike Team & Task Force Leaders
    • Single Resource Bosses
    • Technical Specialists & Field Supervisors
    • Responders traveling across multiple historical residential regions
  • Included Vetting: All L1 checks + targeted County-Level Criminal Searches for the last two counties of residence to catch local records not yet reported to national databases.

LEVEL 3: Command Staff & Public Trust Officials

Best suited for: Incident management leaders, agency representatives, individuals managing federal assets, or personnel with direct financial/logistical decision-making authority.

  • Target NIMS/ICS Roles: * Incident Commanders & General Staff (Operations, Planning, Logistics, Finance/Admin Chiefs)
    • Command Staff (Public Information Officers, Safety Officers, Liaison Officers)
    • Division/Group Supervisors
    • Personnel with access to government emergency facilities or high-value supply procurement
  • Included Vetting: All L1 and L2 checks + comprehensive County Searches (up to 4 counties) + a dedicated Federal Level Criminal Search to uncover white-collar crimes, federal property violations, or interstate offenses.

⚠️ Required Disclosures & Disclaimers

  • Organization Status Notice: Sentinel Overwatch operates as a centralized, volunteer-led compliance and logistics non-profit organization. We are currently in the development stage and are actively pursuing formal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status (currently pending).
  • Self-Pay Background Screening: To maximize available funding for active field operations, all personnel are required to self-pay for their background screening directly through the SafeScreener portal. Sentinel Overwatch does not collect, handle, or profit from this screening fee.
  • Profile Verification: Once both steps are completed, your verified credential status will be calculated and made available to your designated response organization to clear you for active field deployment.
